Best hand held two way radio?

    I was thinking about finally adding a CB but after more thought I never really used the one I had in my last pickup. Whenever I'm out in the woods I normally just use a 6pack set of 5 mile radios I have that I picked up from walmart to talk to friends that are out with me. I'd rather have something I can just pack with me and bring in the wife's SUV when needed rather then be tied down to only communication in my pickup. So with that...

    What do you people think the best hand held two way radio's are? What can you tell me about reliability? What are you running and what was your experience with it? I just want a portable CB instead of building a ridiculous system i'll never use.
