Hello TW! I have yet another life decision so I'm turning to you all for advice. My lady friend is interested in buying a Jetta and with her price range, we've narrowed it down to early 2000's.

I found a 2003 VW Jetta 1.8T GLS with 94k miles for $8k. Thats a good bit over blue book and the interior isn't perfect by any means.

Anyone have any prior experiences with these cars? I've never owned a VW so I'm a bit hesitant to give her the green light.
