    perzactly

nothing more humorus than a bunch of rich guys arguing over slotted vs. drilled rotors...or automatic vs. manual trans.

kinda makes the long bed/short bed argument here look like a debate between the #2 and #3 pencil. :D

My friends think it's very odd that I'm on a truck forum because they don't think I'm a hick or a redneck at all...since that's obviously 100% of the demographic on this site

have fun. also if you wanted to tow, should have got the 4.0 V6 from the start. i have towed 3k maybe more and could hardly tell it was back their even going up hill doing 75mph. like others said, just because it’s boxed frame dose not mean it’s stronger. also my 4wd switch works every time i use it, and i have had 3 grown adults on my tail gate and it was not bending at all. i have had 400+ pounds on it and i opened it up, not one thing was slightly bent. also i don’t really like the wheel wells to be round like a tire.

Could it be that the guy legitimately wanted to say goodbye, because he enjoyed his time here, but the Tacoma now longer fit his needs/wants? Is it possible that he wasn't really trying to talk shit or get people all bent out of shape, and was just trying to be cordial to everyone here?

Guess that's ridiculous to think about. Just seems people get unreasonably bent out of shape when someone says "goodbye", like they are personally offended that someone would get rid of the Almighty Tacoma. Remind me to never say bye or thank those that helped me on this site when I replace my truck.

    Had he said:
"Hey TW.. While i loved my time here, for personal reasons, i have sold my Taco and am moving on to a new truck. I will miss you all, and check in from time to time. Take care guys!"
Then i would believe he was... just saying good bye.

But yes, when his entire "farewell" is nothing but slagging the Tacoma and promoting an inferior truck.. yeah, expect people to feel it is in-genuine and to slag him back..
