    A lot of vehicles have mileage calculators, they're not very accurate -- generally. The best way to compute mileage is to divide total miles driven by gallons used.

    So you rest your trip odo to 0 after you fill up and then the next time you fill up you divide that mileage by the amount of fuel it took. Best to use the same pump and check mileage against a gps as well if you want it to be the most accurate.

    Did they have the hill pulling torque or interior space though? ;) I guarantee that car gets up and goes compared to any gas vehicle that would get similar mileage.

    ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.

    I use a app on my phone, I average 43mpg to 45mpg and thats driving to LA on the 405 every day so I hit traffic on my way home. On a recent road trip I got 48 with a cargo box. if you can keep it under 70 the fuel economy is incredible.

    Congrats.

    I think a VW is in my future, eventually. I don't currently drive enough miles for it to make financial sense. Truck is paid off, have company vehicle and gas card to commute to work in, insurance on two vehicles and a car payment does not make sense right now. But I'd LOVE to have one.
