Spark plugs

I have the 2011 Tacoma Crew Cab Prerunner with the 4L V6 VVT-1 engine. The dealer says I need to change spark plugs at 30,000 miles.

Is this true?

Thanks

Yes....and there is a write up on how to change them. Very easy and takes about 35 minutes.

Yes this is true. Our trucks use regular copper plugs not the platinum 100k plugs. So every 30k you will need a spark plug change.

Here is a tread on them...get a deep 5/8" plug socket, locking extensions, antisieze and dielectric grease and you are good to go...
