I'm in the same boat. We're thinking about one for her, but honestly we know the F model is out of our price range . If anything it will be the iS350.

I have a 2004 IS300 wanting to trade up to an IS-F one of these days. I just need to come up with another $42,000.

We have an IS250, and after seeing the craftsmanship and quality of Lexus - that is all I will ever own as far as "high end" cars go. I am dying to buy a used IS-F in another year or so when the prices drop just a bit more. The Lexus puts the others to shame in my opinion, except BMW.. but I like interior styling and overall reliability of the Lexus better still.

I have been eyeing one of these since before my taco. I would own one by now but because of the severe winters here it wasnt worthy.
I am still looking though.
