So, Lexus/Toyota brought out the newest BMW 3 series/Mercedes C class/Audi A4 etc... fighter at the Detroit Autoshow.

I have always been a fan of the Lexus IS series. From the 1st gen IS300 to the outgoing IS250/350.

But this thing is hard to look at and make sense of... The front end is overly stretched and exaggerated and unless Toyota got Nike's permission, I think there might be a law suit because of the use of their "swish" symbol.

Interior is pretty nice though... But not enough to get people to trade in their 328I/335I BMW's, Or C-Class benz'

Based on looks alone, I would choose a one of their competitors.

The front end kind of looks like an overly constipated person trying to fire one off... I like the older look better.

I'm betting this front end get's mocked, and then popular once it grows on people.... 12 tacoma upgrade was the same around here.

That grille just needs to be redone. It looks ridiculous! I don't mind the slanted headlights but the grille is awful.

They put their own spin to an S4/EvoX grille. It didn't work.

Idk how I feel about it yet...I had a 2nd gen IS (current style) that I sold for my truck and I still think that it looked better than this new one :anonymous:

I bet the grill looks great in person, though...and where do you see a Nike Swoosh? Am I blind?

NO way, I'd go with a 3 series or Audi if I was looking at a sports sedan. Looks are a big factor with me and cars.

Front end looks like when people use photoshop to stretch/compress their pictures so they look smaller.. haha, reminds me of that

That looks nasty. The ass end looks ok, but it you look at the side shot it looks like the side is short and the roof is real tall... The headlights are to small too.

It doesn't look that bad in non F-Sport trim (different grill) and in silver... But the headlights still look too dinky, They should be extended down to the LED DRL's and intigrated into the headlights.
