So i had a lot of time to procrastinate by pondering the mysteries of the world. At risk of being made to look like a moron, i was wondering why toyota (or anyone else) hasn't made a luxury truck through lexus. No market? I know trucks are made to be used like trucks but i was just wondering. what are your opinions?

Well you know the Ford F-150 has its Bling twin brother the Lincoln......something or nother. But I dont think other manufacturers would do that bc its a huge waste of money...

And thats one reason why Fords in the dumps right now... manufacturing trucks and cars that no one wants to buy

very good point, my roomate's dad has the luxury edition of the Tundra and I thought it was amazing. Not that I would need or want all of that but I was very impressed with the ride, interior, everything.

I don't think Toyota truck sales are as strong as domestic truck sales, hence why Toyota only offers two different trucks. This may have changed though considering current events.

Ya, I was well aware of the SUVS when I originally posted, I was thinking more along the lines of pickups specifically.

Why waste the money? It takes a lot of research & developement (and BIG MONEY) to develope a 'new' style truck.

They need to spend time working on fuel efficiency (and GREEN) and maybe even adding luxury features inside the trucks they have already (tacoma, tundra).
