anybody know what it takes to make a buggy (home-built car) street legal in mississippi?
if it comes to it i'd just register it in arizona and transfer it to mis.

EDIT: i contacted some family in MISS. and they asked a MHP officer and he said as long as we have:
    1.a windshield
    2. a horn (preferably a dixie horn ;) )
    3. safety stuff (those are his words :notsure:)
    4. hi/lo beams, turn signals, tail lights, brake lights.
EDIT: 5. brakes on all 4 wheels that must stop the vehicle within 30 feet at 20 mph, a secondary, mechanical parking brake is also required.
    thanks corey

after you get/install all of the above equipment you take it to the local MHP inspection station, they inspect it, and if you pass you can go register it for the street.

All of that sounds about right and I'm guessing by safety stuff he means seatbelts.
