Just saw a SA Ranger at the local supermarket. Slightly bigger than the Taco, had a pretty quiet diesel, and was all business- no chrome or alloys, plus it had the built in headache rack. I got a chance to talk to the driver for 30 seconds, enough to find out it was a test vehicle only. Too bad, because it was very cool- much more utilitarian looking than a Tacoma. Maybe some day soon....

Honestly tho, would you want to buy one if the same was offered by Toyota? I guarantee that if Ford brought that ranger here with its Diesel, toyota would be a step ahead or right behind with the Hilux or similar.
