    Installed my FT86Speedfactory UEL Catted header and stage 2 tune today. feels a lot better than it did before. dont feel the Torque dip anymore

    You guys dont worry about the warranty with the tune? I know about the whole warranty thing but I feel with a tune if something goes wrong with the engine it would just be easy for them to point at the tune and blame that.

    i would just flash it back to factory tune. i know they can still see if its been flashed, but i'd still try and get it passed them. plus, im sure the intake, header, and exhaust will give them enough shit to blame

    I'll be letting you know about this.. As my car has a stage 2 tune on it, the dealer knows this, they say they will locate the cause of head failure before they tell me yes or no to being under warranty. But again that isnt saying they won't try to blame the tune, at least they didn't yet..

    Good luck. Thats why I'm worried.. I'd love to take my wrx to stage 2+ but the whole tuning thing and not being able to take it back to stock without them noticing is kinda throwing me off

    Well I finally got a call from Subaru, they are going to cover my car I only have to take my ecu back to the shop that did my tune and get it re flashed back to stock. Then back to the dealer.
