How hot do 35w ballast get?

    In my sig
    I just installed some ddm hid's in my Toyota Matrix. I was able to mount the ballast to the back of the headlight housing with screws. Should I be worried about the ballast getting so hot it melts the plastic?

    On my phone so no search option.
