I love Vipers, although I'm a fan of the 1st gens. I love how Jeremy Clarkson described driving the Viper:

"It has these fat rear tires that give you just enough grip so that you think you're in control... and then it kills you!"

I am not a fan of convertibles... Coupes are where it's at!

What vettes have you had OP? You would rather have a car because it looks different rather than how it performs?

Z06 = best bang for your buck!

I have had a c5 vert and C6 vert. so are you saying the viper isnt a performer? HAHAHAH yes a Z06 is an awesome car at a good price if I were to stay with vettes I would go with the 427 vert. best of both worlds. I have liked the vipers since they first came out now its time to own one. there will always be something faster and something that performs better I dont care what you own.

The problem is a z06 or a 427 is that they are still just corvettes... but a Viper is a fucking Viper, ground pounder, 315 rear tires, V10, plus there isn't a stripped down model that Joe Everyman can pick up.

I agree, Buy something like a GT-R or ZR1 corvette. I drove a GT-R and man... It put two lumps in my stomach and for some reason my sack was empty. Thing is MAD fast.

There might be a v10 in that viper and you cant get a lower class trim... But dude... Everyone has seen a viper. Ive seen more vipers running around then i have GT-R.

Is this a crisis purchase or for another reason? I say get exactly what you want. Especially if you plan on leasing or payment to own.

Shit i say if you got the money, Buy a LF-A... My fucking dream car!!!!
