I pay about $750 per year for the Tacoma. My policy is through Liberty Mutual, my coverage is in the middle range (not the highest amounts available). My policy includes uninsured motorist and roadside assistance. Other factors:
    Age 45
multi-vehicle discount (1995 Corvette, cost about $350 per year to insure at the same levels, about $1100 for both/year)
group policy discount (through my employer)
    $1000 deductible
    clean driving record
    garaged at night
    10k miles per year estimated

Im paying $1134 /6 months for my wife and myself. My '11 Tacoma and her '04 Grand Cherokee. 100/300/100k coverage and 500 deductible.

We live in Puerto Rico so that doesn't help it. People drive like its a third world country down here.
