I am on the LX forums checking on my new ride, and this thing is all the rage. Going to be an awesome car. Should dip into the 10s in the quarter. Will be interesting to see what it weighs though.

Is there a metric horsepower? Maybe the conversion is screwed up.

 

The 2014 F1 cars , 1.6L V6 turbo hybrid making 800+ hp , with 2 motor generating units harvesting energy for the ERS battery , the MGU-K harvests kinetic energy under braking , the MGU-H harvests heat energy from the exhaust , the hybrid power accounts for about 165 hp of the 800hp total , at the same time using 30% less fuel than the 2013 naturally aspirated V8's with a higher top speed

Why not , still hold true , I've seen 800+ hp hybrids , so this is snoresville

 

Because if we're talking racecars, 800 hp in itself is a snorefest.

 

The WRC has limited the rally cars to 300 HP and torque approaching 500 foot pounds mind you that's a 4 cylinder. They were getting too dangerous when the Ford Cosworth's were topping 400HP they put an end to it. Personally I would much rather drive a rally car than a muscle car at least it goes where you point it.
