Decided I wanted to go a little faster and picked up a new Mustang. It is a GT and I am putting a Roush supercharge on it. All said and done, should be around 675 HP. I'm keeping the Taco, as it is not even half way to 250k miles.

Thanks. I have wanted to add a car to the garage for a while. I was planning on building up something, but a good deal came along on this one.

Nice!! The 2014's are about to go on sale since the 2015 is a completely new car. But a mustang has long been a dream of mine. A 1969 Boss 429... I might sell my girlfriend for one. :D

That's kind of what happened to me. Had the taco in the shop getting the ARB bumper installed and I rented a car. They gave me a 2014 convertible V6, but my old lady really liked it, and I enjoyed have a car. Not that it was super quick, but it had pep that the tacoma just lacks.

I started looking for a used 2005+ that I was planning on building up the suspension and engine. I've always wanted a supercharger and I've always like how V8 Mustangs sound, it seemed like a good plan. I have a buddy that has a pretty bad Harley, that is around 130 HP. I wanted to build something that was about the same HP/weight ratio. So I had a goal to build a used one to. But then this one popped up with the upgraded brakes and the price was right and the financing option was perfect for me.

The Roush supercharger doesn't void the drivetrain warranty, so I had the dealership install it. All in all, this thing should be pretty damn stout.

Will do, as soon as I pick it up. I haven't seen the car in person yet. I bought it out of state and will fly up to get it in a couple of week.

Would you mind explaining why you say it is a terrible choice?

Nice, that will be a blast! I've missed my Mustang since I got rid of it. I will get another one eventually. Give the '15 a year to work out the kinks in the new model and a '16 will look pretty appealing to me.

Good looking car. If I were to buy one of the big 3's muscle cars, it would be a Mustang.

Congratulations! I have owned 3 Mustangs all GT's my last one was an 09. Maybe you know this but $h!t starts to break with that much HP when the car comes with 400. Tranny rear end etc.. When one thing is stronger it causes something else to go its a never ending cycle. At one point I could have my transmission out in 30 minutes no lift. Have fun be safe.
