I'm going to be needing a new vehicle before long so was wondering if you were in my shoes which truck you would choose. My business is expanding so I will be towing a 7x16 enclosed. Total weight of trailer and equipment will be around 6500 lbs. Towing 300-350 miles per week. Prob gonna keep my tacoma for a hunting vehicle but deff going to need a bigger truck. I can't decide to use the tacoma and wait till the Cummins titan/tundra come out which is a ways off or what. Ram ecodiesel has me intrigued but just don't trust dodge reliability. What would you choose?

    Ecoboost F-150 or a 3/4 ton diesel.

5.7 tundra. Toyota reliability. You don't need a diesel to tow 6500lbs, I mean you could do it but it would be overkill.

    Too few to list.
I'd get a used V8 truck to use for towing. They can be had for about $10k. Unless you're going to need to tow over 6,500lbs, I wouldn't use a new truck.

Those are sweet trucks. Rented one in Idaho for 2 weeks. 55 mph roads with no traffic and never seen better than 16mpg. Towing would be near single digits. Only reason I'm leaning towards diesel is the much better mileage and low end torque for these hills/mtns. My 4.0 tacoma hauling nothing has trouble with some of our inclines

I'd definitely go with the ecodiesel

I'd say a diesel hands down. It'd have the most power and gas mileage with the amount of driving you'll be doing. I have several friends that are huge in the rodeo scene and most of them tow their multi-horse slants w/ living quarters with a Dodge. I've never heard them say anyting bad about their trucks. Some of my F350 friends have though.
