Yup....been watching the news on this one for a while. Slightly safer than riding a bike, better mileage, heat/air.....and $6900. My 112 mile commute wont be so bad anymore.

They've been delayed at least one year so far. If you look around they were supposed to have cars this year. I'd love to see them on the road and I hope they have lots of success. It could be a nudge in the direction of less is more, but I'm a little worried they won't pull through and release an actual product.

Here's an AOL video of one of the prototypes being driven, and you just have to wonder how hard can it be to go from a almost fully functional prototype to a production car.

Not a bad option and the price is right.

Been following this for awhile now. Just haven't paid a deposit. I heard delay also. I think it'll be a great seller.

I wonder if insurance will be ridiculous or if it can get a good crash rating.

I was wondering that too. It's considered a motorcycle, so I don't think insurance prices will be thorough the roof.

Crash ratings are based on accidents involving similarly sized / constructed vehicles.

So, what is comparable? Crash ratings for things like this aren't really meaningful.
