Get rid of the 08 highlander and get a 4runner?

    Highlander has 104k
    Base model
    Awd
    Needs brakes
Probably needs more but i am lame and spend all my money and time on my taco.

Deals on a lease (i know) are same monthly out of pocket as our current highlander payment and she'll need something new in 2yrs anyway.

So lease a new 4runner and it's new and in 2yrs decide to buy it out or buy something else OR keep the highlander dump some coin and time on it pay it off and hope it lasts forever?

Its kind of driving me nuts right now so u guys can help me off the ledge, don't know how to create a poll so chirp away!

If it's wifey's ride, do whatever she wants. Mine loves her 4runner, but I think both of us would enjoy a rig that meets our needs and is paid off even more. That highlander is barely broken in, so she's not going to NEED a new rig in two years... but you know what they say, if momma ain't happy no one is.

The wife is all for a new vehicle and since her sister has a 4runner she wants one. Yah the highlander could last forever, we never use the third row and i want her to be sitting a little higher for visibility and if she was in an accident i feel she could be a little more safe.

Thanks for your input, yah it would be nice to have something thats paid off i am torn on this and she is like sure that sounds good one minute then she says she likes her highlander the next. This woman was driving a 92 standard cab 4x4 when we met and she keeps saying how she misses that truck, lol.
