used tacoma? or scion Xb... poll?

I ended up getting the xB,
but not new.
I got an insanely cheap deal on one that fell in my lap.
I have since then decided to sell it
and not own a car at all

I Don't want a Tacoma anymore. it doesn't remotely suit my needs.

No I didn't post this question on a scion forum. because I made my decision 2 years ago.

the xB was a phenomenal car. I loved everything about it.

besides, the reason I sold the xB is I'm moving to Australia. they don't sell Taco's there.

I want a HI-LUX. when I get one of those (after college) and this forum is still around. you can bet I'll post it here.

 

xb? WTF? I mean i would understand a Prius cause it gets 55mpg. Or a civic cause it has great track record with maintenance. Or a full size truck cause, well its full size and might have greater towing capacity. But xb? As a vehicle, what advantage does it bring to the table? I would say tacoma is one of the best looking trucks out there. Definitely one of the meanest. Gas mileage isn't too horrid for a truck. Several category advantages there with tacoma. what about xb?

I have both. The xb has 90% of the tacoma's utillity. Can keep an 8 foot step ladder in there. Can't tow. Can't put a full sheet of plywood in there. Gets 15mpg beter (2004-6) and drives like a dream. Unlike my tacoma, the xb has never been in the garage and its 4 years older.
Nothing to complain about on the xb at all. I'm sure if I lived in the mid west and wanted to go on a road trip, i'd find it's lack of a 6th gear on 70mph highways irritating. But I've been to the flyovers. Don't plan on going back soon.

 

prius is tiny... good for commuting but not going to costco. civic is .. well recently crap. Nothing great about it. The xb gives you suburban like interior and mini exterior. Gas mileage is great and the tacoma is probably at the bottom of its class for gas mileage. Out of the 2 cars in its class, full size trucks with small interiors whatever class that is.

I sold my xb to get the tacoma. I got tired of seeing my car in a parking lot and thinking to myself "what a gay car" before realizing it was my car.
