I was 16. Just got my license a month before. Driving my 99 Dodge neon (Bright red of course) 50 in a 35 in a very well known speed trap on my first day at a new job. Lucky for me, I had a friend in LAPD that asked the officer not to show to court so the ticket was thrown out. Phew! :D

I was 17 years old, my parents were out of town and I decided to take a joyride in my moms Toyota Avalon. Not exactly a sports car but 275hp is better than my tacoma lol. Anyway, my friend and I jump in and are cruising around town at around 10pm hauling ass of course. I passed by a cop doing 130...needless to say he went after me...when he pulled me over he said i was doin 103. It was a 55mph zone but regardless i was over 100mph and anything in the triple digits is bad. He gave me the ticket for wreckless operation as well as the 103 in a 55, and took my license...had to get someone to come drive the car home for me. I was lucky i didnt go to jail, the cars insurance card had expired like 3 days before. Went to court got my license back after about $500 in fines and court fees...6 months with a probation officer. Not too bad i must say it could have been worse but it was a very good lesson for me. I now have a radar detector...Valentine 1. Since i got it i haven't had another ticket. Been pulled over several times but not for speeding lol.

My first ticket? That was way too many years ago and I have always been a frequent target of the coppers. On a good note, I have yet to receive one in my tacoma <knock on wood>. This is my first truck. It mellows me out for some reason.
