No, just finalizing the code. We were going to offer the GB to all Toyotas but realized that what works on the 4L motor does not necessarily work on the 1.8L and 3.5L. Seems the larger truck engines all use the same code and we're just verifying so that we know who to include in the initial offering. You haven't missed anything.

If it's a 2006 or older all seem to be the same, things got strange in 2007+. I have not had a chance to try our code on a 2.7L yet. Before we start officially selling these I'll have a list of what has and hasn't been verified. I don't want people to have problems, but we can always reflash new codes into a gauge if some unforeseen support problems arise. That's really not a big deal.

I'm sure someone local would be willing to offer up their truck for an afternoon of development and test for a discounted price. ;)

Great to have you here at TW. Definitely looks like a strong product and looking forward to seeing/hearing reviews.

If you want I can send you a gauge to verify, I'm pretty sure we have the parameters that you need for trans temp. Send me an email at sales@aeroforcetech.com if interested.

To the OP (or anyone that for that matter), how did you mount that on the dash like that? Seems to be a great place to mount it.

I used 2" pvc and went thru about 7 prototypes before arriving at one I liked that fit the dash contours and didn't look terrible. I also had a plate I made from alum. contoured to the dash that previously had my ScanGaugeII mounted to that I retrofited to mount the pvc to.

It was a huge PITA but I liked the look. I did end up wrapping the gauge once around with elec. tape just to make a tighter fit with the ID of the pvc. Then I had to find paint that matched the interior dash color.

I have a few photos of the process - if you're interested let me know. Again, it's a pain just because there's a lot of going from the workbench to the truck and back and forth again.
