    Go with a Ferrari.

When I pay off my taco I have every intention of getting a Camaro all while keeping the taco. Best of both worlds

I'm getting some great feedback here.

Here's my thought process: I really want something that isn't used, especially if it is a sports car, as I want it and plan to keep it in pristine condition. I have a '69 Camaro that I love to drive and gets a lot of attention, the 2010's seem to garner much of the same awe from people on the street. I won't be driving it hardly at all so I would kinda hope that it would be worth a lot in the future as a perfect example of one of the last gasoline (only) powered muscle cars.

I really don't think the days of gas induced horsepower are going to be around much longer (see the a-bat concept). I would really like to have a newer, nicer car that I can keep around for a good long time. But who knows?

    Thanks for all the comments!

Hertz, Enterprize probably wont want the new camaro V6's...not with 305 HP.

I recently test drove a triple black camaro ss2, 6 speed. if it was up to me i would have had it sitting in my driveway, but the dealers wont budge on the sticker price

I'd trade in my Tacoma for a new Camaro if I could. I need 4 doors for the family.

I was debating on Camaro or Mustang. Decided on a vette instead.

Used C5 Z06 or used C6 coupe you can get for same price as the Camaro with not too many miles on it. They're much better built than the Camaro's too. Throw a cam into it and some exhaust headers and you got 500+ hp that will destroy any ass clown making fun of you for driving a Taco (if you keep it).

Here's a little incentive, turn speakers UP lol.

The Challenger (Hemi) costs 1700 a year in Gas Guzzler tax... so probably not. Plus it only has one more HP than the 2SS.

If you want one, buy one. Personally, I hate the new Camaro. There's not one thing I like about it. Naturally looks are subjective, but I think it's the worse looking of the all the throwbacks from the big 3. It's a rather big car. If I was buying a fun car it wouldn't be a huge coupe that weighs what, nearly 3900lbs? The interior is just plain stupid. When I was in one it just seemed like they let a child design it. And I'm no GM hater or anything I always loved the f-body cars, but this Camaro just doesn't do it for me at all.

I wouldn't get a Challenger, either. I love the exterior styling of them, but weighing over 4000lbs just kills it not to mention the terrible Charger carry over interior. Personally I like the Mustangs the most. Right now they may be a little underpowered compared to the competition but they make the most out of the power they have and weigh less so they're really not that far behind in performance. Exterior and interior styling is much better(again, looks are subjective so it's only my opinion). If I was buying a fun car I'd be waiting for a 2011 Mustang GT when they get the 400+hp 5.0L. Or as mentioned a used Z06.

Expect to pay MSRP and above for a 2010 at this point. There are many pre solds and the factory in Canada can't keep up with demand. Each dealer currently is allotted two a month and they sell quickly. I'd wait.

How much did you pay for the Z06? I can't find one for under 40k.

IMHO, I think that what you pay for the Camaro and what you get is kinda a rip off. I'm not really feeling the body lines on the new Camaro, a little to over the top for me. The interior is a joke! They've used the cheapest materials money can buy, the buttons feel like there gonna fall off. No soft touch plastic anywhere. It just seems cheap to me.

I'd rather keep the Tacoma and use the 10,000 your gonna borrow and buy a classic!

Would be awesome except I bed you spend at least 10 grand a year maintaining that Ferrari.

You could nab a used lotus elise in the high 20s, low 30s. Toyota celica powerplant, so it should be decently reliable and affordable to maintain.

Or an LS2 GTO...great value, haul ass and sound great. Just make sure to put 19s on it or else it doesn't look right.
