step bars, bull bar, tint, bug shield, debadged, tires and rims

people have told me on more than one occassion.... with your keys in the ignition and you have a heavy keychain, ie. a LOTTA keys, that it will damage the ignition.
any truth to this? or should i call mythbusters?
