So the exterior door handle broke on the delivery truck where I work, a 2004 F 350. I know you've gotta pop the interior door panel off to get in to work on it, but I've never done that on anything but a '93 Honda Prelude. Is it as simple as just poppin it off, or is there a trick to it to make it easier?

There's probably a couple screws near the handle and probably the window/doorlock switches. Other than that just pull straight out to pop all the plastic anchors and then straight up to lift the panel clear of the door lock and window track.

Open a door and wrap a chain around the hinges. Hook the other end up to the taco and get some momentum. This should solve the door handle problem and make access easier.

Yeah you could leave the door attached to the chain and then toss it for an anchor when you get unintended acceleration and can't stop the Tacoma :D

    Glad to hear.

Good thinking. One can never be too prepared.
