I've been going with the flow so far with these gas prices. Except today. I went by the Shell to fill up and it was $4.059 for Regular Unleaded. That was a $75.75 fill up. I was so mad, it really hadn't bothered me until today. I just snapped......

man, i'd be happy if i saw 4.05. im lookin at about 4.30 everywhere out here. if you wanna try to save some gas(and money) you should really check out that stuff im using called Ethos FR. its given me a consistent 10+% increase in fuel economy, no bullshit. i know the stuff seems expensive, but it costs about 15cents a gallon to add and at a 10% increase thats saving me 30cents a gallon if you look at it sheerly at a cost perspective. Ethos: http://www.thegassecret.net/ maybe we could arrange a group buy of this stuff and get it even cheaper. they sent me a one-gallon w/ free shipping deal for $150 which is about 1/3 off......

I eased up off the gas and brake and my mileage went from 17.3 to 19.1 (www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg) on my last fillup. I also get 3% cash back on my fuel purchases from American express and I get 2% cash back when I get gas at costco!

I'm gunna have to pass.... $150 for some additive...I would rather spend $150 getting a hummer from a one legged hooker with braces.....

$4.359 87 at costco this afternoon in santa clara, CA

Also, I just passed 2000 miles (odo on fill was 1995) on my Taco!!

Damn....and I thought gas was starting to get a little out of hand at almost $4/gal here. Makes me kind of glad to be in this ghetto state. I paid 3.989 for 88 (mid-grade) today. I can't get 87 here. Regular is 86 and mid is 88 and premium is 91.

We went from $3.79 over the weekend to $3.93 today(Mon). I was lucky and filled up this AM before it went up. Saved 14 cents plus my 5% on my Shell Mastercard. BTW I got 27 MPG again. Love my fuel sipping Taco.

To stay on topic, gas is expensive no matter what you pay these days.

To figure your mileage, start with a full tank, drive a couple of hundred miles at least, refill your tank. Then divide the miles driven by the gallons purchased. I.E. my fillup today was 250 miles driven, fuel purchased was 9.25 gallons= 27.05 MPG. Hope that helps.

It's pretty sad when you're playing a freakin' video game (GTA: San Andreas) and you wish you were there simply because the gas prices in it are $1.34/gal.

I just paid 3.99 for 87 octane in Ma just over the RI border.
The good news is I went 508.9 miles on 18.132 gallons for a tank average of 28.066 MPG. My last 3 tanks average is now 27.91

My fuel log
