i use my truck as a truck at least a minimum of ounce a week usually on weekends hauling the dirtbikes. theres also the times when my friends need me to get something or haul something around. one of my friends who thinks im stupid for buying a new truck and tells me i should have gotten a car often asks me to pickup stuff for his project car like the new set of tires, his new(used) tire mounting machine, lsd diff for his car and the motor and trans he bought off of ebay so i usually give him smartass comments like ohh look who needs a truck now :p

Everyday. It is my work truck. I added an ARE DCU contractors cap with tool boxes and it works out well.

PS- I wish that I could have had a brand new lifted truck when I was fifteen. It blows my mind.

About 4-6 times a week. I run a mobile motorcycle maintenance service so the rear part of my access cab is pretty much dedicated to tools from February thru November. I carry a bike stand, lifting blocks, chemicals, oil pan, used oil jug, etc in my truck bed. I could never fit all that into the Z I had.

I don't think I exceed the payload capacity for a car, but I definitely exceed my space requirements.

I used to use mine as a truck when I was in construction- then I switched to service and got a work van and now it sits in the driveway begging for attention.

At least once a week. This weekend's foray into the awesome world of truckness (sorry for the tree in the way, I couldn't get a decent angle for the pic):

Good thing I have TSB rear springs! :D For comparison see the attached pic of my unloaded truck. Same damn tree got in the way but you know what a post-TSB longbed looks like. Now my truck really looks like a desert Pre-runner!

That's 9 bags of top soil behind the bed divider (40 lbs apiece), 40 landscaping bricks (IDK, like 25 lbs apiece? Heavy concrete bastards...) and 16 2-liter bottles of drinks for the neighborhood BBQ tomorrow. Somewhere around 1300-1400lbs. I drove it all of 2 miles to get home... slowly. Only hit the bump stops once... or maybe I just rode them all the way home

    I love having a truck!

I'll have to wait a while to answer this one, I don't even have 500 miles on it! I figure it will be used 95% of the time as a car and 5% as a truck.

Yeah it was about 2 cubic yards. No tsb, just stock.
And it was sagging quite a bit if you can't tell in the picture, but not majorly.

    She's gone but not forgotten.
I'm one of five guys in the company I work for...three are doctors, one doesn't really qualify as a guy (couldn't troubleshoot a bowling ball)...which leaves me and my truck. I haul everything from office furniture to computer equipment back and forth nearly every day. Don't mind most of the time, but sometimes I wish I'd bought one of those little "smart cars". "Sorry boss, can't fit anything bigger than a roll of paper towels in it!".
