Here's a perfect reason: Girl friend bought a sleeper couch and needs it moved to her house. Try that in a Civic.

I got tired of being the one that was getting towed. Now I'm on the other end of the 'rope'!

In college, we hauled about 7 tons of garbage from our house to the dump when we renovated the pool to a movie theater. Little 4 banger Toyota pulled strong with more weight in the bed than the weight of the truck itself (which was waay over it's rated hauling capacity)

a truck is the only way to go. When my 97 Tacoma was totaled i had to drive this damn VW passat of my wifes for awhile and i realized then that i will always own a 4x4 toyota just because i'm so involved with hobbies that are off road and require hauling stuff

I'd wanted a tacoma since 1990, after my neighbor bought a toyota pickup AND you ever try to haul gutters, bags of mulch, or a washing machine, rocks, manure, trees, etc... in a camry?? 'Nuff said :D

That and I like sitting up higher when driving on the highway...
