It’s an 07 Civic. Each time I put it in reverse and get it moving and apply the brakes it makes a grinding/ whining noise. As far as I can tell the pads have lots of life in them. The car has about 35k on it so I would think the pads are good since it’s not making any noise when going forward. Any ideas?

Oh btw it has rotors in the back not drums...
