    What made the pinto particularly apt to fire was the combination of rear gas tank in proximity to exposed bolts that tended to puncture the tank in a collision.

    i saw two pontiac fieros bust into flames. one was my girl friends car in high school and the other was my mothers demo. when i was a kid and she sold cars at burns pontiac in marlton. i can remember her coming home from work all excited they gave her that hot new car. like a month after she got it that bitch burned like disco inferno right in front of my grand mothers house:laugh:
