Recently just had a transmission put in my '97 4-runner and the mechanic informed me that it would be in my best interests to replace the valve cover gaskets. He said it isn't a huge deal and its a slow leak, however, I want to get it done so it doesn't get worse. I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I was just wondering the procedure and difficulty regarding the replacement of these???
