I'm about $70 a month or so. That's with being under 25. No crashes or tickets though. Great coverage from west bend.

Congrats & like with lots of things nowadays, it pays to shop around and see who has a better deal for ya. Customer or employee loyalty doesn't count for much any more. People can say it does but reality proves them wrong much more often than not.

Yeah....we had USAA and we saved 1500 a year by moving to Geico and having the same full coverage. USAA wouldn't move on their auto insurance.

Does anyone know if you leave USAA for another company, Are you eligible to come back to USAA again?

I personally have USAA for my Auto Ins, Homeowner's Ins, and my truck loan. I have shopped around before, but for the little bit I would be saving, it wasn't worth it to me. USAA has been great. When I first got my truck, I hit a deer and did about $3700 in damage to the front end. USAA cut a check to the body shop immediately after the quote, and I had my truck back in two days. I Hit the deer Monday evening, Dropped the truck off Tuesday morning, Picked it up on Thursday afternoon about 2pm.

Edit: $120 a month! Jesus! I only pay $99 a month for mine. You saved more than I pay... Although I can't say much, when I was 19, I was paying $290 a month for insurance and USAA put me on a high risk policy due to a couple accidents and speeding ticket within a short period of time.

Wow nice, I have USAA (pay $92.50 a month for a 12 with a not at fault accident) and
Geico wanted to charge $250 a month

I swapped homeowners and auto. Homeowner was able to budge a little. But was not worth it when added to auto. USAA was also charging me extra $ for a 60kadditional structure that does not exist.
If you are a vet or related to one, I dont see why you couldnt go back.

Holy crud. You inspired me buddy...on a whim I checked Geico and went from $645 with Allstate to $338 six month premiums (and added a bit of car rental reimbursement which I did not have with Allstate).

I'd love to give you a nonsexual hug right now!

Awesome. Im glad to have helped. Even USAA said Geico has a new program that is untouchable by most insurance companies.

I switched insurance earlier in the year from Erie to State Farm. For same coverage went from 1300 a year to around 800 or so.

My wife and I pay $250 for a Tacoma and Outlander Sport. Getting screwed for 15/30/15... or 25/50/25 I can't remember. One of the things I hate living in Louisiana for.

Ya know, this thread inspired me to do a quick online quote. I can save $1300 a year by switching from Allstate to Geico and increasing my coverage from 15/30 to 25/50. I think it's a no brainer, but I worry that it will go up after 6 months.
