Coming to a Subaru dealership near you in a few months into the new year is the all new 2015 Subaru WRX. Some lucky bastard on here will be the first to own one. When you do, you have to "POST" stats about your car (WRX, Premium, Limited, etc). Show it off. As much as I may follow the FR-S/BRZ threads on TW, this car is definitely worth its own thread. So here it is. So enjoy this video while your pants are dry.

Yes, I know there is a concept thread about the WRX, but not an owner's thread.

Kinda difficult to have an owner's thread without owners.

Sucks that Subaru won't offer the wagon version in North America.

Not yet. Stay tuned though. Believe you me, if I could I would be the first. Just building up the excitement. I'm excited for the first person to post.

The more I learn about Subaru, the more I'm beginning to love this automaker. They may not make the most glamorous cars but they sure do know how to make them.

I post this video up because my wife was just rear ended last week in her Altima. The cost: $4,600 plus around $600 for the rental (3 weeks). Go figure. I hope the new WRX has this same feature.

Way to go Subaru. Toyota has a few things they can learn from you. At least the FRS/BRZ turned out ok. :D

I encourage all of you to research the crash worthiness of your car. Don't simply rely on dependability.

I love that it has a new engine, smaller and more efficient than the previous EJ series. But kind of sad that they went with a twin-scroll turbo and equal length headers, although efficiency is their goal. Losing that Subaru rumble. Definitely a step in the right direction though.
Can't wait to see what the WRX STi will be.

The only other vehicle I thought about purchasing besides a Tacoma was a EEC wagon. Luckily I looked at a Tacoma first

I don't dislike them, but how many noticed the pic of the evo stashed in there?? They look too much a like I think.

hehe had to sneak that last pic in to see if anyone would notice.

A few comments on another car forum said that it appears Subaru copied or based the new design on the Evo due to the similarities of the front end. I was curious if the same sentiment would be echoed here.

I am not happy that the 2015 STI looks like a sedan with a hood scoop. I can't be the only one.

I was seriously thinking of getting a new one in about 2 years. Getting a used one is questionable because of the abuse they go through.

Some Bolt ones here and there
They have all looked like sedans with hood scoops:p. Its what they have been since they changed the STi from the RS coupe style.

I would only buy used from a first owner of these cars. Some people buy the STi because they like the look of it. When I had mine I met a few elderly couples that owned them that didn't drive it hard or do anything with it just owned it to have an AWD safe car.

At least with the 2014/15 the hood scoop looks like its part of the hood, not like on my old one where it looked like a damn bird catcher.:D

I'm reserving judgement until I see and drive one this spring. Looking at picking up either this or the new Audi A3 depending on which one impresses me the most.
