If the topic has came up before I apologize. I tried searching on my phone but didn't see anything.

Just out of curiosity what are you all paying for your insurance?
I got an email from geico.com stating my premium is increasing due to increasing amount of claims in my area.

Currently I have 0 comp 200 collision, 100/300 liability and property. Road side, rental, and I'm sure a few others. Getting 487.98 in discounts for good driver, financial responsibility, term customer, and early payment. My premium is 376.87 every 6 months. But not increasing to 486.34.

They are telling me I can offset the difference by raising my comp deductible and lowering my liability and property limits to 50/100.

The bad they are still the cheapest I can find. I spent 3 hours calling nationwide ( a joke) statefarm. All state farm bureau and a few locals. Farm didn't seem too interested in doing the policy since the truck isn't stock and even told me they would have to see the truck before they could do coverage.

GF(23) and I (25) have 3 vehicles on our Progressive policy ('03 Tacoma, 05 4runner, 98 4runner) and $500 deductibles and sit at about $814/ 6mo or $136/mo. Also have a full coverage motorcycle policy for an '06 CBR600rr and '09 FZ6R with them and pay $650.70/6mo for the bikes.
She had a couple tickets that I think have dropped off from when she was young and my record is clean. This is in Reno, prices here are more than they were for me comparatively to the small town I used to live in up in Oregon.

When I was 18 and had a brand new '07 Tacoma the policy was over $1100/6mo for me for just the Tacoma.

OP - I'm right at your number at $380 for 6 months. I'm in my mid 40's.

Question though / something to check. When I got my new truck last summer I had a policy that was a good number of years old. Transferring from the old truck to the new truck on the old policy would have given a big jump in the premium. My agent updated to a new policy with almost exact same coverages and other junk and brought it back down to the above number. Is your policy more than a couple years old? Something to consider? :notsure:

    Good luck,

    Arc'

I have 250 comp 500 collision with the disappearing deductable, 250/500 liability and property, Road side and rental. I also have my 2012 Rzr insured with 250 comp 500 collision and 100/300. I'm 21 with my own policy, clean driving record and no wrecks. $338 every six months for the Tacoma and $86 a year for the Rzr.

After seeing what y'all are paying, I'm doing pretty dern good!

Early 30's, paying $55/month for full coverage on my pickup. That's not a lot more than I had to pay for liability only on my '99 in my early 20's. I guess that's one advantage to getting older.

me(31) and my wife(32) have 3 vehicles on esurance right now. my wife 04 mazda3 full coverage(500 deduc), my 09 tacoma with full coverage(same as the 3), my 85 corolla with liability. we also have road side service and what not with our full coverage vehicles and paying about $82 and some change a month. ill also be adding another 85 corolla in the near future which will probably bring me a little over $100 again since i had 4 vehicles before which we were at $109 and some change then. i have been getting a lot of junk mail from geico and progressive lately though and might hit them up again once i get the forth vehicles up and running. think i called one of them a while back and they couldnt even match or come close to my $109 price.

I just got my renewal, $765 for the whole year full coverage from liberty mutual, 2010 tacoma.

    Liability
Bodily Injury $100k each person $300k each accident
    Property Damage $100k each accident
    Uninsured Motorist
    Uninsured Motorist $100k each person
    Bolidy Injury $300k each accident
    property damage $3,500 each accident

    Collision deductible $500
    Comprehensive deductible $500

my old altima costs $218 for a year for liability only, same liability coverage as the tacoma.

To OP, what did u end up getting? you should stay at 100/300 and just raise deductible.
