I have heard of sweetwater. Where is it? Is it near the sweetwater campground off of hwy 20 on allatoona?

Cool well I live in Canton too. I'm about 3 miles up hwy 5 from the chick-fil-a.

Yea it is just past sweetwater corner cafe on 20. theres some decent trails there for it being so close. you can ride the trails all the way to the lake and camp down there.

Oh ok...yeah I know where you're talking about.

You do realize that is both a mix of private property and Army Corps of Engineers land and it is illegal to ride there. Pretty hefty fines if you get caught.

Theyre old loggin roads so they are public roads and legal for trucks its technically illegal for fourwheelers and dirtbikes but ive never had a problem. As long as you stay on the road and dont veer off onto the hunting club its legal.

Im ready for a meet with some folks here in Ga. Not really all about getting hardcore with my Tacoma, Mines more for show and light off-road.

So Cal Tacomas met up every month down in San Diego, and I havent even met anyone in my home state yet.

Edit* Put me on the list

I wouldn't think it would be too sloppy on saturday. We're gonna have two full days with temps around 90 so hopefully we won't slip slide into a tree. Plus these trails will probably be more rock/gravel being in the foothills. If not we have atleast one winched vehicle.

The trails should be dry by then.

I wouldnt worry about it. I've driven them in 2wd without any issues.
