Fort Gordon/ Augusta

Who knows some good places to go wheeling in the Augusta area? I've gone on some of the trails on Ft Gordon but looking for other places. Truck is largely stock no winch yet so I need somewhere that isn't too treacherous.

I live here in "disgusta too ! don't really know of any trails around here either. my tocoma is stock as well, but if you just want to kick around some and get your tires wet ,try the lower end at Lock & dam out by the Augusta Air port, when it rains it gets kinda muddy out there, use to be where a bunch of folks would go and play around in the mud.One day I saw a Tocoma pull a Ford out of the mud, embarrassing for him I bet! You might find some places around Clarks Hill lake(Strom Thermon Lake for all you new people) hope this was helpful.
