    Hello all,
I am moving to Duluth, GA for my job and am looking for what there is to do there and for info on apartments.

For apartments I need rent to be $850 or less, with safe area/complex .
Any advice or places to look would be awesome!

Duluth actually covers a pretty good area. Where in Duluth is work?

It's been many years since I rented, but I've got a good friend who works in Duluth. Many of the people he works with live in apartments near work. I'll have him run a query for you. He's at Sugarloaf Parkway and I-85.

When are you moving? I don't mind doing some reconnaissance for you.

Oh, and as to safe areas in Duluth . . . I don't think that Duluth has a bad area.

And finally, what are you looking for in an apartment? 1 BR, 2 BR? Amenities?

I'll be starting work on the 2nd. Have a place to stay until i find an apartment to move to.

Looking for one bed one bath as close to 800 as i can get. Have found one i like at 816.
Work is on crestwood parkway, near satellite blvd.

As far as amenities, updated interiors would be cool, pet friendly would be nice but not mandatory, would def like washer and dryer in unit or atleast have connections to later add it, having a gate to the community would be nice as well.

I have found a couple apartments that have sugarloaf in the name... assuming thats in the same area.

thats a really nice area, I used to live really close. lots to do, but be prepared to deal with horrible drivers on an extreme basis...especially in the rain

    Awesome.
what is the breakdown of people? like mainly settled families, or young single professionals? most likely a mix but curious either way haha

If you're young I'd strongly consider looking into Brookhaven since that's closest to 85. Lot more fun to be had with a younger crowd even though the commute will be a longer in terms of mileage. It'll be a reverse commute so probably won't take all that long. I used to work in a different suburb (Marietta) but lived in town in Buckhead and I don't at all regret it.
