Going to be in Helen, GA in May and wanted some info on the Tray Mountain trails.

    - Where do the trails/trail start from?
I will be staying in Helen inside of Innsbruck.

    - My Tacoma is still stock. Will I need to upgrade before I hit the trails or can I hit the trails as is?
    '15 4x4 TRD Sport

    - How would you rate this trail?
    Beginner? Intermediate? Advance?

    Thanks

I went up to Tray the first week I had my truck (completely stock) and it was great. Easy trails and lots of fun. The best place to enter that I found is right off Unicoi Turnpike less than a mile past downtown Helen. It is on a curve and easy to miss. Small gravel road with a couple mail boxes. The actual road is called Tray Mountain; you can find it on Google maps easily. Have fun!

Cool I may try to camp up there that weekend and maybe get some others to go ride as well. All I know of is the one road on tray that we all ride.

The 2016 Taco nav system has all the trails on its map so that was helpful. Also very easy, be careful of Beasly Knob its a lot more challenging then Tray Mountain.
