How easy is the DIY kit to weld up? Would a bumper and hitch shop be able to weld them up no problems? I know the owner of one so it would be cheap labor.

It's the most time consuming part of the whole process of building sliders, plus you will have to tack them while on the truck or take good measurements. I wouldn't call it hard, just time consuming.

If your a wheeler that likes to use his truck and plans on building a fairly heavy truck then I would go with the hybrids.
