The only ones that have internal ballasts are the 9" lights correct?

Does the 9" light come with any covers?

Also, what brand are the bulbs/projects/ballasts? I know absolutely nothing about lighting . Does brand even matter?

P.S. Only HIDS require ballasts, right?

All lights except the 6" lights come with covers.

The brand of HID that comes in these lights are DDM Tuning.

Halogen lights dont require ballasts, HID lights do require ballasts.

The 6" lights are from the same manufacturer as the ones from harbor freight.

These aren't "true" retrofitted HID's because they do not use a projector, correct? I'm not trying to bash them by any means, just trying to my vocabulary up to speed .

Can anyone give me any information on DDM? I believe I remember reading some negative comments made on this forum.

Sorry for all the noob questions

Projectors dont make a light true HID. Projectors give HID lights a clearer cut off and eliminates stray beams. However, with off road lights, the objective is to flood as much light as you can in front of you, which doesnt require a projector. I dont know of any HID off road lights with projectors.

DDM has had negative reviews based on customer service. Some people have ballasts go out sooner than others. I personally have gone thru multiple bulbs and ballasts from other "reputable" companies. However, the vendor I am promoting these lights with do offer a warranty if you read the first post.

And just to help Blackhawke out here... I made a short video this summer showing how well these lights actually do at putting light down the road. I can make a driving one too here one of these days if someone wants to see how they do on the highway etc...

^^^ blackhawke88, thanks for the answers man. I really appreciate all the help. Just trying to get my facts straight before I dive into a purchase . I'm one of those guys who will spend 2 hours reviewing a $10 product before purchasing.
