    gabe.. that u piece is the support.. drilled the fender and bolted thru and then bolt to the bracket.. figured that would stop it from bouncing around.. no pics yet.. got impatient the first day and mounted it up.. scraped half the paint off lol.. so i sanded it down and painted again.. once the rain stops ill through it in..

    Are these supported by anything other then the mounts on the frame? I wouldn't want it flexing up and down everytime I hit a bump or something...

    No.. how I made mine and another members is supported by the piece that's bended like a c.. it bolts to the bracket and then drill a hole thru the fender to bolt it there.. very sturdy..
