I wanna add auxiliary back-up/reverse lights to my truck. Would this fuse block be overkill? Or maybe good to have for future expansion? Can't think of much more I would need to add, but TW is always full of great mods/ideas.

Might be a little overkill, but like you said, good for future expansion and TW is definately packed with excellent ideas

List updated clear to Rufus - I'll put you down for now to make sure you don't get left out

Did you have to pay state sales tax on that purchase? When I buy from Amazon they always tack on an additional 9.5%. That would put it up to $48.45.

I think it depends on which state you are buying from and which state you are.

I live in California & never pay tax or shipping thru Amazon, but I prefer to deal with GabeJ on this one. Keep me on the list for 5026 Gabe. Thanks!

i got another electrical question for you guys.. looking at some installs everyone either uses and inline fuse or a circuit breaker.. but in essance is it really needed to add a fuse or breaker to protect the blue sea block.. if there is a short down the line the the individual fuse for that circuit in the block will pop.. so i guess what im trying to say is why is the fuse needed in between the battery and the block??

It's not the induvidual object running out of the block you're worried about.. its your entire electrical system you are worried about if the wire you used were to short out on the frame then you would fry all of your components on your truck and the new fuse block! (Correct?)

the wire running from the positve of the battery to the fuse block?? that would be the only part unprotected, correct? in that case you would want the fuse as close to the battery as possible.. but most people mount the block and the fuse right next to each other.. so there is like 2 feet of wire between the battery and the fuse and six inches between the fuse and the fuse block..
