    Once I mount the light will I still be able to take out the HVAC control unit if necessary, Say to change the led's in there should one burn out or I want to change the color?

    The HVAC control panel can be removed with either the V1 or V2W mounting plate in place. It will offer some difficulty but, it will not prevent service.

    Regarding, the replacement of LEDs - the unit is not designed as a 'user-serviceable' item. I'm not saying it's impossible to replace the LEDs, but I am saying, there's a 99.9% chance you won't be able to do it without destroying the item.

    In the unlikely event a failure of any kind occurs (excluding battery exhaustion or abuse), we will replace the unit free of charge for up to 3 years from the original date of purchase. We stand behind our product.

    hey i'm not sure if this has been asked yet... but this is a 2 piece product... 1 piece taped to the bottom of your stereo unit and the other piece magnetically sticks to it.... say i upgrade my stereo to a double din and require to change the unit, whats gonna happen?? Do i just buy another sticky tape thing or ?? iono

    We do offer spare/replacement mounting plates for the V1. The V2W spare mounting plates will be added to the website soon to accomdate this need. They should be very similar in cost.
