The GB is posted on their Facebook page for anyone to use until wednesday so everyone better order soon....

 

Talked to Andrew yesterday, he said that he couldnt do much as far as individual parts, only the kits listed, and on the next group buy they are thinking about doing FX-R retro kits only. so thats something to think about. I ended up finding out that it was a bad ballast and my bulbs are fine. Got a new ballast sent to me yesterday (free, under warranty) so it should be here friday or saturday.

 

does anyone have a link to a diy on this?

Still no update on my item..

 

got mine yesterday, not quite what i was expecting, ordered the Mini H1 kit with XB35 bulbs

One of the projectors has a silver instead of black shield, and a scratch on the lens

the other projector with the black shield is missing one of the metal tab/connector thing on one of 2 solenoid wires

The silicone washers in 1 package appears to be used somewhat, both the h7 and h4 washers appear to be have compression/heat marks on it, and a very weird smell! probably from getting heated for some time.

XB35 bulbs don't say philips light source anymore, just XB 5000k now, salts are also not reddish colored, probably because it is 5000k

 

Got mine in today.

Projector lens is scratched and scuffed....

 

Mine should be here friday... Fingers crossed I dont have any of these issues have either of you contacted TRS yet? Keep us posted on what they say.

 

Having a stupid issue....How do I get the projector to sit farther forward? Or is this how its supposed to sit? Honestly I thought this looked wrong.


I put the projector in through the back. Used the black mounting ring and this is how it sits. I looked at everything on TRS, no help.




UPDATE:

I didnt realize this but that is how they are supposed to sit (so MY fault for getting the Gatling Gun) I guess that works for some but I have to say it looks horrendous! I like to have a stock clean look and this is anything but that.

I got mine tuesday night at like 9pm. UPS was working late!

I didn't inspect mine real well, but I didn't have anything that really stood out. Other than small adjustments, I am completely satisfied with mine.

I put mine in but I didn't get one quite perfect, as far as rotation goes. What is the easiest way to adjust them rotationally?
