I never got one either. They charged my CC, so going to call later.

 

I should be recieving my tracking info soon, bc i order at the same time as those who or ready got there tracking info.

 

I'm number 14 on the list and I ordered on the 19 of March an received a email from wet okelo with conformation number and order invoice the same day. Two weeks later, last night I got an email from them with a FEDEX tracking number so my covers are on there way. YAHOOOOOO

 

well then maybe there shipping them out by the order thats on the list. bc i was #99 and ordered first thing in the morning (19) and still no emails from them.

 

Guys,

Is it worth it for me to drive out 35 miles for them to install both sets? I will be saving $30 bucks for shipping, but have to take a few hours off work.

Do you think they will remove the seats to install the covers? My last new car when I had leather installed, the installers broke the connectors under the seat and had to use scotch tape to hold the connectors together

 

They may be doing them by type ordered (no piping, half piping/full piping) or color. Due to the large order, if their manufacturing process is based on setting up the machines to work in batches, on a large order like this, they may do certain types at once, ie, 20 with full piping (1 batch). Next batch, 30 half piping, etc.

That would explain the different ship times no matter when you placed your order. I was # 8 but I did not order mine until a week after lift off and no email so far, so I expect they are knocking them out in batches.
Working straight down the list would not work since people ordered at different times, so batch processing is best on orders like this so they can setup the equipment and still meet that 3 -4 week lead time.

Don't be concerned if you have not gotten an email yet.

Don't know, but from what I've heard, it is a hellava alot easier to remove the seats but not necessary.

 

I called they said mine are shipped. Didn't get the email for some reason.

 

I ordered mine (half piping) on the Wednesday after the GB started and should have them on Friday.

 

Yeah! Ordered on the first day and FedEx says they shipped yesterday!!

 

No email yet for me.

 

Installation was a pain, and took almost 3 hours.

 

Did you remove the seats when doing it?

 

No, I can imagine removing the seat would take away all the awkward position I was in and be a lot faster. The only hard part is the bottom for the front row because you have to get the straps under the seats.

 

Yea, I am not looking forward to it. Looking forward to getting them, just not putting them on.

 

still no email, but supposedly are shipped, hoping to come home to a package tomorrow. lol For those in CA, how long was the ship time? I don't have any tracking info on mine. But they say it was shipped yesterday.

 

I live in Fremont, and mine shipped Monday. So 2 days.
