you adjust the distance you drive by the same percentage as your tire size difference is.

i.e. if your tires are 7% bigger than stock, then you would change the UltraGuage so that the miles displayed are 7% more than what you actually drive. So if you drive 70 miles, the UG will show that you drove 77 miles.

Gotcha, so with 35s I'm off by like 11-12% so I should be able to try and set it at 11%, check the gps and adjust again if I have to. I'm excited to get this thing. Let's get a move on and get that 150 on the list

That's how it was for the ScanGauge.

I did find the instruction manual for the UG. Check out pg. 31 for the step by step on how to do it on the UG

Is there anything that this thing does that scan gauge wont? And vice versa? Like reading diagnostic codes and such?

idk. That's why I'm getting a UG to find out. I had the SG a few years ago and it was pretty accurate. But IIRC, I was able to give it an actual % when calibrating it.

7% would be about 5 added miles at 70.

    Yea....

Anyway, no one needs to join the Nissan boards. I am maintaining the list accross all forums I have this posted on.

By all means please help if you think you can get a better deal. I was told the standard $5 off at 50, $10 off at 100, and $15 off at 150.

Honestly I didnt think I'd get the GB close to 150. But being already close to 100 I think it will easily get to or over 150 - in which case maybe we can negotiate a better deal. And if you think you can do that please help out.

...I realize you Taco guys have really increased the count (which is AWESOME) and so far will be the larger share of purchasers. So if you want the "credit" then that's fine. I'm just trying to get a discount for the communities.

Doesn't read trans temps yet. Update should be out during the summer to fix that.
