2012 Grillcraft Mesh Grill Group Buy

fyi the stock grill chrome can be separated from the actual opening that is the grill. im not sure if homertaco showed it in his tread, but you could install it in your current grill housing and just switch the chrome and the paint when it comes in

 

Id love a link for that. Even grillecrafts instructions say get out the dremel or body saw.
I'll take my grill off and look,. but I doubt that this can be done without cutting.

I hope I am wrong.

yeah dude this plain out sucks.... on the good side though im still waiting for my BAMF light bar so i guess its good that i haven't gotten that and not this... but more then likely i have a feeling that will win the race here....

 

Well there you go . . . got my BAMF light bar a week and a half ago, painted it . . . and it's been sitting on my work bench ever since.

Hurry up and wait I guess.

Sorry guys... we are pumping them out in batches as fast as Grillcraft lets us know they are ready...

These group buys always end up taking forever to complete because for some reason even if they know we will be ordering 30 tomorrow they will submit their build order for 15 today. Seems like that anyway...

Originally when we shipped the first batch week before last we were told the remaining grills would be ready within a couple days so we shipped all the east coast guys because from CA their take 4-5 days so had we shipped west coast customers 2 days later all would have been received about the same time. Of course this didn't happen so that ended up biting me...

I think we have a total of 5 left to go... At least one of you has been calling Grillcraft and inquiring. Please make your inquiries to us in the future as Grillcraft doesn't like to deal directly with our customers.

Grillcraft wants to make this the final batch so as soon as the remaining 5 are all ready they will be shipped at the same time.

 

I am 100% happy, what was it a week or two late. I have waited a year for more expensive stuff. Maybe i have candy for brains though.

 

Thanks for the update Luke. You must be as frustrated as the "last 5".

I'm a bit stunned that no one has posted pics of their installed grilles yet.

Come on guys, post some pics for those that are still waiting. We need some encouragement.

 

not gonna lie i was the person that called today because it was said here that all the grilles would be going out by last friday, while i am glad they are finally moving... it just would have been nice to know that there was going to be a longer lead time then what was originally posted in may.... thanks for the update.

 

Anyone get theirs in yet? My new grill should come today so I hope to get to it soon.

 

I'm hoping to get mine installed today or tomorrow. My surround is scheduled to be delivered today.

 

it sucks i wish i would have been looking at this. I wish i could have gotten in on the group buy. Maybe next time.
