I went with the 650lb spring as well. I told Marco I had an aftermarket plate bumper but no winch yet. How about you?

    Isn't 650 the standard rate?

I thought 600 was? Or was that another company? I don't honestly know. I asked what would go best with a heavier bumper since I don't plan on sticking a winch on until later down the road.

mine doesn't say what spring rate they are like yours

but check your coils, it should have numbers printed on them. I told DSM I'm not running any plate bumpers or winches so I asked for the standard spring rate....I think the numbers "E300-14-600" means 14" spring 600# rate, I could be wrong.

mgrande, did your kings have this much thread showing when you got yours? How much lift did you get in the front?

No plate bumper but installed a front receiver and purchased a Warn receiver mounted winch.

Stock is 600 coils, Marco advised against 700's unless you have both plate bumper and winch, makes for a hard ride otherwise.

I think so, here's a pic. Should be close anyway.

Here's how they are now, I have 3ish inches. I've had to re clamp the inner CV's because they were rubbing.

I have installed a CBI front receiver and there is a brace on each side that appears to tie into the frame in the same place I circled on your picture. The brace ties in with a 5 or 6 inch bolt that passes through the box frame member. It appears that you have this bolt as well, how did you get the remote reservoir bracket mounted. It also looks like you removed the sway bar, is that so? how does she handle hard cornering?

One one of the sides I was able to just squeeze the bolt in, the other side I just drilled a hole it the reservoir bracket.
As far as the sway bar, I would say its similar to a stock suspension. Maybe a little more sway, but not much. I was very reluctant to take it off but then I tried it since I spent all that money on kings and wasn't getting the most out of them with it on. I dont mind it at all.
