    From what I've read both of the Morimoto's are going to be easy to install....neither should require cutting of the reflector in the Tacoma.

    Here is a really good link to a discussion that happened a few years ago. The MH1 has since been upgraded to Gen 5, but the basic pros/cons remain the same. Pay close attention to post #7, Matt from TRS has a really good breakdown on the main bullet points of any projector and which of the two Morimotos is superior in either.

    NICE comparison... Keep in mind that one of these is 4300k and one is 5000k, but look at that high beam cutoff on the DS2!

    Don't know if you guys ever saw the finished product, or even wanted to. Can't go wrong with TRS, Andrew and those guys will help you out with whatever you need. If I didn't do such a good job the first time I'd do it all over again. ;)

    H1 looks a little wider, but it's more rounded.
    The DS2 looks to be more of a "band", filling in the lower corners.

    That's a big help for mountain roads when you've got deer in that area.

    Thanks Rich! Ebay of course, it was at one point a pin but I ground off the back of it and attached it with some concrete epoxy. The bummer is I have eyelids on the way....so they'll not be seen after that. Dang it!

    So a local member is selling me his oem headlights for $50 (maybe 40 ;)) in good condition except one of the lights is missing 3 tabs... I don't know how many tabs come on the lights, but is 3 missing a lot? Is it good enough to have an extra set just in case?

    The only thing about the ebay lights is you have to be on top of resealing them. They are notorious for leaking, a friend of mine down the street has a set on his second gen and right now with the moisture we've been having they are literally full of condensation. I can help retrofit if you like. Never done a first gen but my 2010 came out pretty nice.

    That is exactly the answer I was looking for. My buddy just had his 2012 subarus lights blacked out at CCA in town and hes taken them back three times to stop the condensation. That's what I'm mainly worried about. If I get in on this buy I'll PM you if I need a hand. Thanks.
