    I actually had a couple of customers want to try it in the 2012. Some have made it work where as others returned the unit. Other than the color difference, I did not see any reason for this not to fit the 12 Tacoma. I may be mistaken...hence I have posted this item for 05-11 Toyota Tacoma.

    Im hoping that the added XM/satellite feature will intrigue a few other forum members given the massive request amounts for Satellite radio.

    so since 2012 radio fits pre 2012 car then 05-11 will fit 12? haha

    Ya, found it in another thread where a guy was showing how he installed power locks and power windows into his RC Base model 2012.
    He installed the aftermarket stereo apparently before the 2012 adapter kits were available.

    IMHO, it's tolerable and doesn't look too bad, but it's not going to be a perfect fit, so a lot of people aren't going to be happy after spending $500+.
    It's a little more tolerable for a $40 adapter kit.
